It all started in 2004 when Marco and Linda Caruso packed up their grandmother's hand-written recipe cards, found a little spot on Lincoln Rd in Bettendorf, and opened their doors with nothing but a wood-fired oven, big dreams, and a deep belief that great pizza could bring people together.
What began as a neighborhood secret quickly spread across Bettendorf — families celebrating birthdays, little league teams grabbing a post-game slice, date nights that turned into proposals. Pizza Ranch became more than a restaurant; it became a landmark of the community.

Today, two decades on, we still hand-stretch every dough ball, simmer every sauce from scratch, and source our toppings from local and regional farmers whenever possible. The recipes haven't changed — and neither has the love we put into every pie.

Marco and Linda Caruso open Pizza Ranch on Lincoln Rd, Bettendorf with a 12-seat dining room, one wood-fired oven, and Grandma Rosa's secret dough recipe. On opening night, they sell out in two hours.
Overwhelming demand drives a major renovation, tripling seating capacity and adding an outdoor patio. Pizza Ranch earns its first "Best Pizza in the Quad Cities" award from local press.
We launch our full-service catering program, bringing Pizza Ranch to weddings, corporate events, and community gatherings throughout eastern Iowa and western Illinois.
Pizza Ranch launches online ordering and delivery, making it easier than ever for our regulars to enjoy a Ranch pizza from the comfort of their homes. Orders double within the first year.
We launch the Pizza Ranch Community Kitchen, partnering with local food banks and donating 100+ meals per month to families in need. Named "Most Community-Oriented Business" by the Bettendorf Chamber of Commerce.
Celebrating two incredible decades, we complete a full kitchen renovation with sustainable equipment, introduce a new seasonal menu, and serve our 50,000th pizza — still made by hand, still made with love.
